ISBE Hawaii is located at: 1888 Kalakaua Ave., Suite 311, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815.

 

We are located on the first and second floor of the Waikiki Landmark Building, which is a luxury high rise complex located at the entrance to Waikiki.

Parking: Monthly parking is available.

Approval Disclosure Statement

International School of Beauty & Esthetique was granted institutional approval from the State of Hawaii Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.

The approval from the State of Hawaii means that the institution and its operation comply with the standards established under the law for occupational instruction by State of Hawaii Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Approved are the courses:

Esthetician 600 hours
Instructor Course 600 hours
Nail Technician 350 hours
Paramedical-Esthetician
Master Esthetician

Graduating students who successfully completes a course of study, be awarded appropriate diploma or certificate verifying the fact.

Prospective enrollees are encouraged to visit the physical facilities of the school and to discuss personal educational and occupational plans with school personnel prior to enrolling or signing enrollment agreements.

Admission Requirements

Admission into our school is open to all applicants provided the following requirements are met:

  1. Be at least 16 years of age. If under 18, a parent of guardian must enroll the applicant.
  2. Successfully completed high school or the education equivalent (GED certificate).
  3. Valid certificate as proof indicating the applicant is free of active tuberculosis.

Objectives

The educational objectives of our training programs are as follows:

  • Educate students to become professional, knowledgeable, and skilled Estheticians, Nail Technicians, and Make-up Artists for marketability within the Industry.
  • Maintain programs that are constantly updated so students will have complete knowledge to compete in the vast realm of the beauty industry.
  • Promote the continuing educational advancement of the faculty and students, using current teaching methods and techniques of the highest quality.
  • Prepare the student to successfully pass the State Board Exam for State License and employment.
  • Produce salon-ready individuals upon graduation with skills to manage, own, or work in a salon.
